Increasingly, patients undergoing high-risk cardiopulmonary procedures have comorbidities with extensive atherosclerotic disease of many vascular beds including coronary, cranial, and peripheral. Our discussion reviews the clinical presentation of such a case and highlights some of the important treatment options available when confronted with such a finding. The successful outcome achieved by percutaneous stenting of the subclavian artery and salvage of the graft may indicate that this modality is the initial treatment of choice in such cases. | Gov't Doc #: | 16830344 | URI: | https://ahro.austin.org.au/austinjspui/handle/1/10194 | DOI: | 10.1002/ccd.20789 | ORCID: | 0000-0001-9554-6556 | Journal: | Catheterization and cardiovascular interventions : official journal of the Society for Cardiac Angiography & Interventions | PubMed URL: | 16830344 | Type: | Journal Article | Subjects: | Aortography Arterial Occlusive Diseases.complications Comorbidity Coronary Disease.epidemiology.surgery Electrocardiography Humans Internal Mammary-Coronary Artery Anastomosis Male Middle Aged Myocardial Infarction.epidemiology.etiology Polycystic Kidney Diseases.epidemiology Subclavian Artery |
